CQC
CQC Certification (China Quality Certification) is a product certification issued by the China Quality Certification Center (CQC), aimed at ensuring that products comply with China’s mandatory national standards and technical requirements, safeguarding consumer safety. CQC certification covers multiple areas, including electrical and electronic products, home appliances, automotive parts, construction materials, and more. Products that pass CQC certification indicate that their quality and safety meet China’s relevant regulations and standards.
CQC certification includes both mandatory and voluntary certification types. The mandatory certification (also known as CCC Certification) applies to products that significantly affect public safety, health, and other areas, making it a basic requirement for entering the Chinese market. Voluntary certification applies to other non-mandatory sectors but is still an important means to enhance product competitiveness and consumer trust. CQC certification helps increase market recognition and promotes the internationalization of enterprises.
Tuya’s WBR3 communication module has passed the China Quality Certification Center’s (CQC) IoT product cybersecurity certification and received a test report issued by TÜV SÜD Germany based on the CQC 1167-2023 “Cybersecurity Technical Specifications for IoT Products—Home and Similar Use Devices” standard.
