ISO/IEC 27701:2019 is a global privacy standard specifically designed for the collection and processing of Personally Identifiable Information (PII). This standard aims to assist organizations in complying with international privacy standards and regulations, focusing on the following three key aspects: • Extending the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27002 to include data privacy. • Providing a framework for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving a Privacy Information Management System (PIMS). • Offering specific requirements and guidelines for organizations acting as PII controllers and PII processors. After undergoing an independent third-party audit, Tuya received ISO/IEC 27701:2019 certification.
