SRRC
SRRC (State Radio Regulation Commission) is China’s national radio regulatory authority, responsible for managing the radio frequency spectrum, certifying radio equipment, and licensing the use of radio stations and radio transmission devices. The main responsibilities of SRRC include developing radio frequency planning, coordinating the use of the radio spectrum, supervising the quality and safety of radio communication equipment, and allocating and managing radio frequencies. SRRC is also responsible for certifying radio communication devices sold in China to ensure they comply with China’s electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and spectrum usage regulations.
SRRC certification is one of the key requirements for entering the Chinese market, especially for wireless communication devices and smart hardware products. Devices that obtain SRRC certification must comply with China’s relevant radio frequency and communication standards to avoid interfering with the normal operation of other devices.
Some of Tuya’s products have passed SRRC certification, meeting the requirements of China’s State Radio Regulation Commission.
