Bangkok, June 10, 2026 — Tuya Smart (NYSE: TUYA; HKEX: 2391), a global AI cloud platform service provider, today appeared at the Global Telecom AIoT Summit 2026, held at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok under the theme “AI FOR ALL.” Hosted by The Telecommunications Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage (TCT) and co-organized by Tuya and T3 Technology, the summit brought together the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), GSMA, and leading telecom operators from Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, and other markets to explore scalable commercialization paths for AI+IoT across homes, businesses, and beyond.

Leo Chen, President of Tuya, delivered the opening remarks at the summit: “Over the past 12 years, we have built a global leading AIoT developer platform. Today, we are once again standing at the critical time window of the AI revolution. Southeast Asia has become one of the world’s fastest-growing digital economies in recent years, which strongly aligns with Tuya’s vision of advancing global intelligence. Tuya will work closely with T3 Technology and telecom operator partners worldwide to accelerate AI adoption across homes and commercial scenarios, creating greater value for customers and society.”

Chakkrit Urairat, President of The Telecommunications Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage (TCT), delivered welcome remarks: “The deep integration of AI and IoT is reshaping the boundaries and value chain of the global telecommunications industry. We are very pleased to see telecom operators, technology platforms, and innovative companies from around the world gathering in Bangkok to help turn the vision of ‘AI FOR ALL’ into reality. TCT will remain committed to building an open, collaborative, and secure industry ecosystem so that intelligent services can benefit more people.”

Nick Wang, Vice president of TCT, Chairman & Founder of T3 Technology, said: “From smart homes to smart cities, large-scale commercialization of AI+IoT is no longer about one-way technology output. It requires deep collaboration between telecom operators and technology platforms. T3 Technology and Tuya have already validated reusable AI+IoT solutions across multiple Southeast Asian markets. Going forward, we will continue lowering integration barriers and exploring diversified cooperation models to help enterprises improve efficiency with AI and bring smarter experiences into everyday family life.”

Professor Sarana Boonbaichaiyapruck, Chairman of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission, said: “Thailand is accelerating toward its Digital Thailand vision. AI+IoT is not only a tool for industrial upgrading, but also an important enabler of better public well-being. The NBTC will continue to support standards development, resource optimization, and cross-sector collaboration in the AIoT field, providing innovative companies with a clear and stable policy environment and supporting the healthy and orderly development of Thailand’s smart industry.”

The summit also featured insights from Julian Gorman, Head of Asia Pacific at GSMA on “Unlocking Scale: How 5G Unlocks the Consumer and SME Smart Economy,” highlighting how next-generation connectivity is laying the foundation for large-scale AIoT adoption. As 5G deployment continues to accelerate globally, the organization emphasized the growing maturity of Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) services and the rapid expansion of AI+IoT ecosystems, creating new opportunities for telecom operators to move beyond connectivity and deliver intelligent, value-added services across homes and businesses. He also emphasized that this evolution represents an important step toward building more inclusive digital nations.
One of the summit’s highlights came from TrueX, the digital home business unit of True Corporation, which showcased how it is leveraging AI and IoT to reshape Thailand’s smart home market. With approximately 12.3 million connected smart home devices already deployed across the country, TrueX has identified a key challenge: fragmented user experiences across disconnected ecosystems.
To address this, TrueX has built a unified smart home platform tailored to Thai consumers, designed to seamlessly connect, automate, and orchestrate devices around everyday living needs. The platform aims to deliver convenience, energy savings, entertainment, and security through a single ecosystem.
At the center of the solution is Hey Ami, an AI-powered smart home platform developed in partnership with Tuya and supported by T3 Technology. Built on Thailand’s first localized Home AI Model, Hey Ami integrates Voice AI, Visual AI, Home Context Intelligence, and AI-powered services to create more natural and personalized home experiences.
The initiative demonstrates how telecom operators can evolve from connectivity providers to intelligent lifestyle platform providers, bringing the benefits of AI into everyday family life.
A four-party MOU signing ceremony was held among True, VNPT, T3 Technology, and Tuya, marking a strategic move to bring Hey Ami to Southeast Asia and reflecting the growing momentum for regional cooperation in AI Home and AIoT ecosystem development.

The summit also featured representatives from telecom operators including True, AIS, and NT in Thailand, TM in Malaysia, VNPT in Vietnam, and operators from Hong Kong, Laos and other global markets, as well as Zhejiang University, Konec, Vector Green, Amazon Web Services, among others. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the real-world deployment of AI+IoT across family life, community governance, smart cities, and other application scenarios.
As AI becomes increasingly integrated into daily life, telecom operators are uniquely positioned to accelerate adoption by combining connectivity, AI services, and smart devices into cohesive user experiences. Through its global AI cloud platform and extensive AIoT ecosystem, Tuya continues to empower partners with the technologies needed to build scalable AI Home and AIoT solutions that address local market needs while driving new business growth opportunities.
As barriers between technologies and ecosystems continue to fall, telecom operators, platforms, and developers are working together to lower the threshold for AI adoption and accelerate the arrival of a more human-centered AI era. Leveraging the summit as a new starting point, Tuya will continue expanding into emerging AI markets such as Thailand, advancing the realization of AI FOR ALL and bringing smarter living experiences to consumers worldwide.
