PVG will use Tuya's IoT platform to launch more smart home Qlima air conditioners in Europe in March 2021.
Düsseldorf, 21th December 2020 — Tuya Smart, a leading global AI+IoT (AIoT) Developer Platform, and PVG, a market leader for paraffin heaters and mobile air conditioners in Europe, announced a new strategic partnership to give both companies new key advantages in Europe's smart home market.
Under their newly forged partnership, PVG will rely on the advantages of Tuya's interconnectivity and Powered by Tuya ecosystem to fit all PVG Wi-Fi products under the Qlima brand with the Smart Life App by Tuya. At the same time, Tuya will bank on PVG's presence in the European smart home market to further its reach.
The partnership will also enable PVG to offer for the first time a proven global single, uniform smart home solution for all PVG’s Wi-Fi products to be connected with other open platforms like Google Home and Alexa. Simultaneously, the main task is always in focus: providing consumers an even better smart home user experience as all devices in their homes can be centrally controlled with one smart home solution.

By using the Tuya IoT platform for PVG's Qlima climate care products like air-conditioning, dehumidifiers, and pellet heaters, PVG will offer consumers across Europe the comfort of easy access to a broad range of Qlima quality smart home solutions via one single platform.

Although the partnership is just beginning with the Qlima air conditioners market launched in Europe as of March 2021, PVG is already planning to fit all their Qlima branded Wi-Fi products with the Smart Life App by Tuya. PVG has already developed over 20 Powered by Tuya products within their upcoming smart home climate care portfolio, including mobile and split-unit air conditioners, and is planning to include the Tuya Smart intelligence all Qlima smart home dehumidifier and pellet heater portfolio.
