SANTA CLARA, CA—Oct. 22, 2020—Today, Tuya Smart, a leading global AI+IoT (AIoT) platform provider, announced that it has become an Alexa Voice Service (AVS) Systems Integrator. Systems Integrators offer hardware modules, software, and services to help device makers easily integrate Alexa into connected products, reducing development time, effort, and budget, enabling them to get products to market quicker and more efficiently.

Tuya’s solution provides a comprehensive hardware and software Alexa Voice Service (AVS) module. The VWRK4 module for IR blasters has already passed AVS certification, which will enable end users to easily control their TVs and other infrared-controlled appliances using only their voice via Alexa. Additionally, there are a number of products in process for AVS certification such as speakers, gateways, smart mirrors, and smart plugs that utilize the VWRK4 module. For developers utilizing Tuya’s certified modules, they can expect to save on hardware costs and shorten their development cycles.

This announcement builds on Tuya's collaboration with Amazon, as integration with the Alexa Voice Service has been a part of Tuya's global leading AI+IoT platform for smart home devices since its launch to allow for voice control of Powered by Tuya devices.
