Tuya Smart to Showcase Outdoor IoT and Cellular Connectivity Technology at 2022 Mobile World Congress

Tuya Smart ("Tuya" or the "Company") (NYSE: TUYA), a global IoT development platform service provider, today announced it will attend the 2022 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain. The Company plans to showcase its cellular connectivity products and demonstrate how Tuya Smart supports the advancement of outdoor IoT devices through cellular connectivity capabilities.

At this year’s MWC in Barcelona, running from February 28 until March 3, Tuya Smart will showcase its comprehensive suite of cellular connectivity capabilities to thousands of visitors. This year’s MWC theme, “One Step Closer to the Smart Life,” reflects the progress the Company has made in supporting the expansion of the outdoor IoT technology industry, including strengthening device the accuracy, features and distances covered.

While IoT devices were previously restricted to indoor and smart home scenarios, devices have gradually expanded to short-range and mid-range outdoor solutions, backed by Wi-Fi, Zigbee, and Bluetooth technology. And increasingly developers are in search of solutions beyond the normal medium and short-range communication protocols.
