Automate Asia to bring Tuya’s cloud to cloud integration of ‘Powered by Tuya’ products to other smart home platforms such as SmartThings and Homey, which provides homeowners the interoperability and future-proofing of their smart home investments.

Singapore—March. 25, 2021— Tuya Smart (NYSE: TUYA), a leading global IoT Cloud Platform and Automate Asia, the first company in Singapore to develop cloud to cloud integration of ‘Powered by Tuya’ products to other smart home platforms such as SmartThings and Homey, announced a new partnership to customize their smart products and integration to meet local market needs.

Automate Asia was founded in 2016 by two software engineers who transformed their own homes into smart homes, and they aspire to help others do the same. Their purpose is to help everyone lead quality lives in safe, convenient, and sustainable spaces.

Automate Asia developed not only their own brand of ‘Powered by Tuya’ IoT products, but also worked with other local companies to enhance their products with Tuya’s technology. The WYFY brand of IoT products ‘Powered by Tuya’ is one of the brands that the two sides have co-developed that are Wi-Fi/Zigbee enabled, providing convenience and comfort not only via the WYFY app but are also compatible with popular platforms such SmartThings and Homey.

Automate Asia has strong partnerships with local electronic retailers such as Gain City and Audio House. They are an established B2C smart home player in the market since 2014. Their software development team has been working closely with Tuya since 2019. Automate Asia is planning to launch their first ‘Powered by Tuya’ experience center in March 2021.
