Düsseldorf—Jul. 1, 2021—Tuya Smart (NYSE: TUYA), a leading global IoT cloud platform, and iHunt, a smartphone leader in Romania, today announced a new partnership to aggregate respective advantages and resources for creating more convenient and easy-to-use smart home systems, and bringing new smart life experiences to Romanian consumers.

According to a survey released by Assa Abloy, the average investment of Romanians in smart home systems for surveillance and security features is about 1,000 to 1,300 euros. One-tenth of Romanian households have at least one smart product, mainly purchased by people aged between 35 and 44, with economic muscle and willing to invest in new technology, thus playing a key role to promote the development of the Romanian smart home market.

With such encouraging data, iHunt, a Romanian company, plans to introduce a smart home system with hardware and software integrated to realize easy operation of the smart home. To that end, iHunt approached Tuya.
